Old recipes are best

RECENTLY I was diagnosed with diabetes. Thankfully my blood sugars have returned to near normal with changes to my diet and very good advice from my doctor.

My home cooking has introduced me to making porridge, Irish stew, stewed apple, custard and sugar-free jelly. I substitute sugar with Canderel. The old people had it right when they cooked good, natural food and they lived to a ripe old age. I hope I will!
