A call for parity

I note with interest that IBEC have made representations to the Commission for Energy Regulation and have succeeded in convincing it that businesses have suffered substantial wage and insurance increases and that there is no possibility of them absorbing the costs.

As a result, they will not be subject to the 15% price increase.

Perhaps we can expect similar representations from the ICTU on behalf of Irish workers, who have suffered substantial price and insurance increases, as there is no possibility of them absorbing these increases.
