Ian Lumley’s quoted comments were extremely puerile. I was very pleased to read Mr Galvin’s view of this elitist group’s operations in the west of Ireland. I have often read reports of how they have tried to block family members on small farms getting planning permission to build a house on their own properties. An Taisce believes that unless people work on the farm or in a nearby village, they should not get planning permission.
