Ban fur farming

IN the run-up to Christmas something terrible is happening to thousands of farmed fox and mink on fur farms here in the Republic.

Ban fur farming

With the animals’ valuable winter coats at their best, on-farm slaughter is now taking place.

No veterinarian oversees the gassing of mink in boxes or the electrocution of Silver and Arctic foxes.

Fur farming is illegal in the North and it’s time to extend the ban throughout the whole island.
