US should not put its fate in hands of UN

THE slaughter in the Sudan, the oil for food scandal, the inability to stand up to Saddam, ethnic cleansing in Bosnia, and on and on...

The UN has become little more than a debating society for nations critical of the US, and hypocritical in their actions.

There is no way a truly responsible US administration should put the nation’s fate in the hands of the likes of France.
