We bring tears to immigrant eyes

AN indication of our nation’s success is reflected in our thoughtless and selfish attitude to migrant workers.

Time after time, I come across young people from eastern Europe who have arrived in Ireland looking for excitement and hoping for a new beginning, a new life.

Time after time, doors are slammed in their faces, wiping out their hopes on arrival in this so-called Christian country.
