Continue the battle against liturgical justification

JAMES GEASLEY says there can be no liturgical justification for what he (and evidently many others) consider to be destructive changes to the interior of St Colman’s Cathedral in Cobh (Irish Examiner letters, March 7).

We faced the same bogus liturgical arguments and the proposed destruction of the interior of the College Chapel at Trinity 20 years ago.

It is a battle we won in the face of clerical opposition.
