IF an Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, knew of Judge Flood’s intention to resign from the tribunal as far back as May — yet gave the impression to the Dáil last week that he had only just heard the news — in how many other instances has the Taoiseach professed ignorance and surprise at events that he was well aware of?
