I THANK God for the gift of my priestly celibacy which frees me to love and serve Him fully in the people of my parish and the universal Church.

What’s the issue?

Celibacy is an ‘issue’ that many in the secular media fail to understand. We live in a society which seems to be convinced that one cannot survive, or is not normal, without being sexually active. Many who are not ordained are already living generous, self-sacrificing, chaste and celibate lives. So did Jesus. What’s the issue?
