Britain’s private bus services set a high standard
I can write with a fair degree of knowledge on the bus business in Britain, particularly in London where I was non-executive director of a bus and coach company that is still operating in that market.
Non-franchising deregulation is what happened there. Far from being a failure, the passenger numbers in London alone have increased by more than 50% in the past six to eight years.
