Fares hike not answer

THE latest five cent increase in all single fares on city bus services in Cork, Limerick, Galway and Waterford may seem minor - but it is just one of many that have occurred in recent years.

No doubt there will be more because the Government won’t step in to aid Bus Éireann when vital improvements need to be made.

The public suffer as a direct result through higher fares.
