Poor and dispensable - this is the Bush family view

FORMER US First Lady Barbara Bush sums up the New Orleans disaster in a few well-chosen words at the Astrodome in Houston:

"Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality. And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this, this is working very well for them," she said.
