Old Cork photos

I AM trying to obtain copies of old photos taken on the streets and lanes of Cork city.

Sadly, many such prints, for so long in drawers and boxes in family homes, have disappeared over the years with the death of elderly parents and grandparents.

Hopefully, though, there are still some around which show the city as it was 30 or more years ago, maybe with people in the photos or just scenes of Cork taken by enthusiastic amateurs.

I would like to view and possibly copy such photos, in an effort to save the more important, unpublished photos of the Rebel City. Any photos forwarded will be returned promptly.

I can call to houses in the city area, or for those beyond perhaps a phone call first and then arrangements can be made for viewing.
