There is nothing convenient about abortion

I WISH to respond to the critics of my letter headlined ‘Self-righteous morality ignores complex factors behind abortion choice’ (Irish Examiner, August 31).

Mark Daly (Irish Examiner, letters, September 12) accuses me of using “pejorative terms to browbeat anyone who disagrees with (my) views”.

Is Mr Daly aware that his own choice of language not only attempts to “browbeat” me, but every woman or girl who is facing a crisis pregnancy and is considering abortion?
