WE have arrived home in Spain after yet another wonderful holiday in Ireland. We normally stay in the south-west Cork area.

During our stay we returned to the lovely, picture postcard town of Kinsale only to be saddened by what we found.

Not only had things become very expensive, but we also noticed how one of the streets looked fairly dilapidated with fading facades and shutters, broken windows, unpainted walls and general rubbish.
