I COULD not believe my eyes when I read ‘Pick Of The Day’ in the TV schedule in the Weekend Examiner last Saturday.

It states that Dara Ó Briain, one of Ireland's finest stand-ups, was poised to become "a household name in the rest of the UK".

I think it is disgraceful that an Irish paper would write such heresy. The Irish Examiner owes history and its offended readers an apology.
