Why crucify an entire family?

I THINK the abuse of children in any form is one of the worst crimes there is.

I absolutely deplore what Tim Allen did.

I have no connection, either personally or professionally, with the Allen family, and simple justice compels me to write in their defence to the Irish Examiner. Why should the entire Allen family be crucified because of the wrongdoing of one of its members?

I thought we lived in a Christian society!
