I AM delighted that Mick O’Reilly has been reinstated as Ireland regional secretary of the ATGWU.

He is fearless in defence of workers, rejecting so-called partnership deals and the hideous double tax service charges, as well as opposing the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere.

His reinstatement will give hope to workers in other unions fighting battles with the likes of Irish Ferries and An Post.
