Immigrants are not to blame for health crisis

LISTENING to some politicians, you might think that the crisis in health and housing were somehow the fault of immigrants or the Irish children of non-national parentage.

Immigrants are not to blame for health crisis

The reality is that the crises in health and housing is the fault of this Government and no one else. They have broken every election promise they made.

They promised that hospital waiting lists would be a thing of the past by next month and that thousands of low-income families would be allocated medical cards.

These families continue to be denied their right to free health care, while patients continue to suffer as they continue on waiting lists that we were told would no longer exist.

Cllr Arthur Gibbons,

24, Cartron Bay,

Sligo
