Channel 6: Young people deserve better
This seems to be in breach of broadcasting regulations requiring 20% of output to be news and current affairs.
It might also be of interest to Channel 6 to note that young people are not all hooked on a diet of celebrity gossip and c-list personalities.
Our national youth poll in 2004 showed a healthy interest in politics and current affairs amongst young people.
They expressed views on voting ages, health, crime, participation, Europe and many more issues. In the era of niche broadcasting perhaps it's about time somebody paid attention to these issues.
