THERE are approximately one million people employed in this country. Each employee and employer has been receiving a certificate of tax credits in the post. I assume the Revenue also keep a hard copy on file.

This amounts to about three million sheets of A4 size paper. How many trees were felled to supply this paper?

How much transport is required to supply and deliver all this paper - not to mention the boxes it is packed in and the envelopes used to post it.
