Stress is not laziness, Joe
Pressure brings stress, and it's obvious that Mr Dolan does not work under pressure. More than likely he is driven to his gig and home again. Should anything go wrong during the night, such as power failure, he puts on his coat and goes home while, in all probability, getting paid as well.
If one is in manufacturing and there is a prolonged power failure, phones start ringing, customers are looking for their orders and things start to pile up. Then you are under pressure, hence stress.
