Sad outlook

A FEW days ago there was a tragic accident in space. The world was aghast. President Bush caught the mood of his nation when, with a sombre face, he mourned the lost astronauts.

I have no doubt he was genuinely distraught. But this same man is at present considering an action which will ‘accidentally’ kill countless thousands of Iraqi civilians.

There is something fundamentally wrong here.
