End the poster war

I WAS horrified when I saw anti-war posters stuck on every one of the beautiful new street lights on Patrick’s Street in Cork.

These posters are sticky-backed and wrapped around the lights. Obviously, they will be hard to remove.

Patrick Street is at last starting to look wonderful. We should not allow our lovely street fittings to be defaced in this way.
