Stand and deliver

ON A recent visit to Knock, Co Mayo, I posted a number of cards on September 21. One card arrived in Belfast on September 23 and one arrived in Charleville, Co Cork, on September 26.

So much for price increases of 7 cent per stamp, benchmarking, new mail centres and now talk of major losses, redundancies and rationalisation.

The main requirement of the ordinary people in Ireland is the speedy delivery of our letters.
