Ex-smoker with a good reason to back the ban

AS an ex-smoker who watched my father die at 67 from emphysema and chronic bronchitis, which together comprise Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), I wish to support the respiratory physicians’ call for total public support for the smoking ban (Irish Examiner, letters, November 19).
