Give Bertie the boot — but don’t boo him

THIS Government is tired, arrogant and in need of a long rest on the opposition benches.

The results of the local and European elections and the two by-elections indicate that growing numbers of people agree with that sentiment.

I hope it will be maintained into the next general election and that we can replace the Government with one that listens to the people and responds to their needs.
