Burke has some neck

RAY BURKE, according to the Irish Examiner, is seeking free legal aid to fight tax charges. We have politicians with rubber necks and brass necks, but this man has a steel neck.

Mr Burke has sold his former home for €4 million and received alleged corrupt payments of near £250,000 in the 1980s. He has a big ministerial pension (and a TD’s pension) and expects the electorate to pick up his legal bills due to his own unethical behaviour.

I am 70 years old, but I will picket the Dáil if they concede to his demands.
