Beware of political spindoctors for hire
However, recent events indicate that the SDLP believe their secret weapon to be spindoctors from FF, the PDs and the British Labour Party.
Many of those enlisted from FF and the PDs were responsible for securing the re-election of the current coalition, a campaign in which the Irish people were duped with promises that there would be no cuts, that the crisis in the health and education services would be ended, schools would be refurbished and waiting lists would be a thing of the past.
The vast majority of Irish people now accept that they were lied to during that campaign.
The SDLP have also recruited British Labour Party spindoctors for their election campaign the people who told us all that Iraq was awash with weapons of mass destruction.
Surely Fergus Finlay should be warning the people of the North to look at the lies that were peddled in relation to the Iraq war, to look at the example of the last general election campaign down here and therefore to be extremely dubious about any propaganda emanating from these people for the SDLP.
