Banners and memories

RONALD REAGAN was a great man for his country and I was saddened by his passing.

I was in Ballyporeen for his visit in 1984 and saw the large welcoming banner that was taken by a street trader who now says he is willing to sell it back (Irish Examiner, June 10). What neck! The 40th president of the United States must be spinning in his grave.
