Fresh or frozen?

I REFER to the articles on frozen imported lamb being sold as fresh (Examiner Farming, June 19) and the reply from the Food Safety Authority (June 26) stating there is nothing illegal about selling thawed lamb as fresh, but the consumer should be made aware if the lamb had been thawed out in “a properly operating commercial condition.”

Fresh or frozen?

I think the FSA defies all logic. Would they ever get their act together and ensure that the consumer gets proper factual labelling?
