New partnership deal should support parents

I WAS very disappointed in the recent social partnership agreement.

The recent legislation in Britain 12 months maternity leave, two weeks paternity leave, a right for parents to seek family friendly work arrangements shows up our mean legislation.

The provision of expense childcare places is not the answer. We must look to the European model and help parents to look after young children, not someone else to look after them.
