I HAVE a 1997 Peugeot 305 car (value €1,500) and am struggling to put together the €539 annual motor tax.

The other day I saw a huge, brand new Lexus 4x4 jeep (value approx €70,000).

I couldn’t help thinking to myself: “Wow! The annual motor tax on that must be colossal...”
