Monumental waste

I WAS disgusted the other day to hear on the radio that it will cost thousands of euro each year to clean the Spire in Dublin because “it’s too shiny”.

Meanwhile, we hear frequently about the growing number of homeless people and the lack of all kinds of facilities in the capital. Some people obviously need to get their priorities right.
