Two proposals with one central idea: Let’s see a Munster v Leinster playoff

Two proposals with one central idea: Let’s see a Munster v Leinster playoff

How about a challenge game between the provinces to be played at Musgrave Park as soon as a suitable date can be arranged? This is the home ground of Dolphin Rugby Club, a member of which, Mick O’Connell, was badly injured in a rugby match. All the proceeds would go to the Mick O’Connell fund.

There would be no entrance fee, but donations would be accepted by volunteers inside the ground. Surely Heineken would extend their generous sponsorship to this worthy cause. The game would need to be organised. Perhaps Dolphin would co-ordinate a committee of captains of the Cork rugby clubs. The ball has now been kicked off. Who will run with it?
