Late Late Show’s big error of judgment

AS the holder of TV licence no 1301206826, I write to protest about the first item on The Late Late Show on Friday, October 23, 2004.

Late Late Show’s big error of judgment

On a family show, at peak viewing time, Pat Kenny presented to the nation a foul-mouthed individual who was masquerading as a comedian and whose only contribution was to string together a load of “f” words.

If any thought was put into the programme, Tommy Tiernan would have been presented last, when three-quarters of the audience would have switched off, changed channels, fallen asleep or gone to bed. Then again, they may have decided to give us the shock treatment first, which I suggest failed badly.
