Labour also helping to make Dáil irrelevant

FERGUS FINLAY (Irish Examiner, July 8) states, “I’m beginning to believe that the Dáil is contributing to its own trivialisation and irrelevance.”

Sentiments I fully agree with.

However, another big contributor to the Dáil’s irrelevance, which Mr Finlay failed to mention, is the shabby deal struck between his party, Labour, and Fianna Fáil earlier this year.
