BRIAN Flanagan (Irish Examiner letters, March 7) accuses America and Israel of launching a war against Iraq.

What if the US were to boycott Ireland?

When has Israel ever declared its intention to fight against Iraq? In fact, it is Israel which faces the most dire threat to its people if war is launched.

Does Mr Flanagan not remember that Israel took 31 Scud missiles for the last international coalition against Iraq, and it never retaliated.
