Support for petition to change drugs rules

I WISH to congratulate Nuria O’Mahony on her letter headlined ‘Change prescription drugs regulations’ (Irish Examiner, May 9).

We should endorse her petition, as what she is saying is very important for us all. I am speaking as one who suffered greatly because of my ignorance.

We need to be aware to make informed decisions about our own health. Thanks, Nuria, for highlighting this very important subject.
