Expenses timesheet

IN your edition of Monday, August 4, you reported and commented on expenses paid to TDs.

The expenses that were claimed by me and paid to me were for a period from January 2001, to the end of April 2003. This was for a period of two years and four months, and not for a 12- month period as was implied in your coverage. This fact was clear from the documentation provided by the Department of Finance under the Freedom of Information Act.

I would be grateful if you would publish this letter to correct the erroneous impression created.
