Hit them where it hurts most

WHERE is the moral case for an immediate war on Iraq, when thousands, nay millions, may die?

Hit them where it hurts most

Who possesses weapons of mass destruction and is prepared to use them? Who is provoking a war? Who has their own population brainwashed, that they are under threat of immediate attack from Iraq?

Saddam has been impotent for 12 years and if the US, Britain, Russia or China do not arm him again, he will be militarily impotent for ever more.

While we in Ireland are thankful to the US for their assistance on Northern Ireland, this does not make their actions in pursuing an unjust war any more right, nor does it demand Irish support or silence.

The least we should expect from our Taoiseach is that he is an active persuader for a non-military solution.

The US understands just one thing: money and economics. I intend boycotting US-made goods with the onset of an unjust war.
