History on show

THE University of Limerick Students History Society will be hosting the Irish History Students Association annual conference in February, 2006.

To coincide with this event we are also hoping to mount two exhibitions one on the Easter Rising and another on the Irish regiments in the Battle of the Somme.

We are seeking the help of the people of Limerick city and county in obtaining artefacts to put on display. We are especially interested in obtaining the loan of documents, photographs, medals and any other material relating to the period. If you can assist, please contact the society through the clubs and societies office at the university.
