No vote won’t change a thing

DOZENS of letters to the Irish Examiner have professed that Ireland will become marginalised, lose funding, or worse, if the last Nice referendum result is reaffirmed next month.

No vote won’t change a thing

But a No vote will not alter our Constitution in any way. It will not insert a clause reading: “Ireland does not wish to continue its position in the EU.” Voting No will give us some breathing space and enable renegotiation of a more favourable treaty for Ireland.
