Forget about prophets and support the US

CHARLES HAYES’ advice (Irish Examiner letters, March 19) to his Israeli friends to see the face of Christ in an old Palestinian woman makes about as much sense as if some Muslim friends were to advise him to see the face of Mohammed in a Jewish child murdered in a suicide bomb.

I suggest that we spend a little less time in trying to invoke the spirit of Christ, or any other prophet, and a little more time in actively supporting the efforts of the US to make the world a safer place.
