His birth certificate says his deceased father was Patrick Joseph O’Shea, a master saddler; his mother, Mary

Margaret O’Shea (nee Roche), born around 1919.

The family was from Limerick or Kerry, but Mary lived in London for some years. Mick is now living in the Netherlands.
