Why young men are driven to distraction

I am a young person who will soon be looking for car insurance.

But, like many more young people, I am in a Catch 22 situation. As a young man I am discriminated against on two counts the first because of my age and the second because I am a male. I would not be able to afford car insurance, even if an insurance company would quote me.

I cannot lawfully drive without insurance and my insurance will be exorbitant until I have passed my test and have a full licence.
