PSNI under fire

THE PSNI response to the orgy of pyromania directed at the Catholic community in Ahoghill, Co Antrim, is bizarre.

Their reaction is to distribute smoke alarms and fire-resistant blankets to nationalist residents in addition to giving advice on which window to jump from if your home is fire bombed.

If the PSNI is leading the way in developing community-based techniques which are the envy of police services throughout the world, as claimed by the Chief Constable Sir Hugh Orde, then orderly society is in serious decline.
