We know why there are crisis pregnancies

CAROLINE O’DOHERTY reports that the government-funded Crisis Pregnancy Association (CPA) spent €1 million of taxpayers money to elicit answers as to the whys and wherefores of crisis pregnancies (Irish Examiner, July 27).

We know why there are crisis pregnancies

Even the stones know that they are due to the inappropriate use of sex.

The CPA must know of the new mood for abstinence before marriage and faithfulness in marriage sweeping the USA and many other countries.

Unlike Ireland, the USA now funds high schools to teach chastity. A popular logo on sweatshirts is “I’m worth waiting for.”

The result is a return to romance in relationships and happiness in marriage while better physical and reproductive health and stable family life are by-products.

It’s time to call a halt to the CPA’s waste of taxpayers’ money.
