I NOTE the comments from the King of Jordan that Israel must end its occupation of the West Bank and Gaza.

It might be worthwhile to remind the king that Jordan annexed the West Bank in 1948 and made no attempt to set up a Palestinian state.

On the contrary, they drove the PLO out of the West Bank killing thousands in the process.
