IN RELATION to the proposed smoking ban I would like to point out a few hard facts to the Minister for Health.

He forgets that a sizeable section of the population is totally against his smoking ban but would compromise.

They are the 25% who smoke and will soon not be welcome anywhere in public. Then there are the hundreds of publicans, hoteliers, restaurateurs, taxi drivers and nightclub owners who do not agree with the ban but will be asked to enforce it.
